Systems Engineering Service Corporation (SESC) has a full time opening for a Director of Solutions Services (DSSG), for its Washington DC/Reston, VA location.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Director of Solutions Service's (DSSG's) is responsible for supporting the marketing efforts of the Sales Account Managers in the field. The primary objective of this role is to provide marketing support to win information technology project based business for our firm. The DSSG is also responsible for the project engagement, quality assurance, tactical delivery and development of all technology based solutions spanning the entire software systems development life cycle.

The DSSG role requires accompanying Account Mangers on sales calls daily, identifying work and crafting solutions to our client's unique needs. This includes marketing support, technical trouble-shooting, proposal generation, project engagement, quality assurance, interviewing consultants, and implementation of SESC's project standards and procedures with overall project management. This role also includes visiting our current technical staff and managing attrition by staying in touch with their concerns and bringing the concerns to the management.

The DSSG acts as a high level authority for technical solutions creating a multi-level marketing approach within the Branch territory. They are also tasked with coordinating and utilizing other members of the Solutions Services Group in our other branches when necessary.

The DSSG is the most senior technical member of the Branch Team and is the second highest level of management within the Branch reporting directly to the Vice President. When the DSSG is not providing marketing support they act as an "assistant coach" to the Branch Vice President, off-loading management issues, performance problems and conflict resolution with the technical staff in the field.

Technical Requirements
The DSSG will possess strong knowledge with all phases of the Software Systems development lifecycle. The specifics include but are not limited to: BPR, SARBOX, CMM, CMMI, Project Management, Testing and QA, Data-warehousing, and product engineering.

Salary ranges: Base Salary $80,000-$90,00-------plus commissions
Other outstanding benefits include full medical, dental, vision, prescription drug card, and a $2,000 annual tuition reimbursement. We also have a company contributed 401k based on profitability.
